4-H in Johnson County

University of Missouri Extension's 4-H educational program empowers young people to reach their full potential while working and learning in partnership with caring adults. As one of the nation's largest youth organizations, 4-H reaches youths, ages 8 to 18, in rural, urban and suburban settings, helping them become competent, capable, caring and contributing members of society.

Johnson County currently has 14 active 4-H clubs         

1. Altogether 4-H Club meets the 2^nd Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Enon Baptist Church in Pittsville; contact Jeannie McClymond at 816-597-9477.

2. B-2 Bombers 4-H Club meets every Monday at 6 p.m. at the Whiteman Air Force Base Teen Center; contact Connie Morton at 660-687-5586.

3. Blackwater Bobcats 4-H Club meets the 2^nd Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Crest Ridge High School; contact Cheryl Zvacek at 816-217-3537.

4. Chilhowee Indians 4-H Club meets the 1^st Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. for Clover Kids and 7 p.m. for regular members at the Methodist Church in Chilhowee; contact Kelly Fleming at 660-653-0128 or Sandra Streit at 816-898-6090.
