THE FIRST YEARS LAST FOREVER, from the I Am Your Child Foundation. Video. 1997. This video helps new parents understand the importance of the first three years of life in the healthy development of their children. It summarizes the latest brain research and gives parents specific tips on how to build stronger bonds with their babies. It covers a wide range of parenting topics including bonding and attachment; communication; discipline; self-esteem; health and nutrition; and child care. A 12-page booklet accompanies the videotape.
